Tiernee is a mixed media artist and explores a variety of art processes while pondering nature and beauty. She especially enjoys pottery and creating functional pieces for everyday use, infusing beauty into every moment possible. Recently, Tiernee has expanded her artistic skills to include encaustic painting. Working with beeswax and tree resin as a medium, feels like a natural progression from clay. Both processes, pottery and encaustic, utilize fire to fuze and solidify the mediums to a finish making them durable and long-lasting art pieces.
